裴休，字休叔，晋朝人也。少好学，博览群书，有文才。为吏，德业著称，远近闻名。世称“裴将军”。
年少时，裴休志存高远，不以富贵为意，专心向学，钻研经史，广结良友。及至成年，游学四方，向名师请教，学贯六艺，博而富有，文采斐然。
裴休仕于朝廷，以才华著称，受到朝廷重用。历任要职，治理有方，百姓称颂。裴休治事严谨，不徇私情，廉洁自守，一身清白，为官一任，以公忠谨勤，无愧其职。
裴休性情温和，待人宽厚，善于倾听他人意见，不轻易妄下结论。在政务上，他善于协调各方利益，寻求最大公约数，使政策得以顺利实施。
裴休一生奉行仁义之道，心怀天下，为国家社稷尽心尽力。他主张以德治国，以礼安民，以忠诚为本，以诚信立身。在朝廷上，他秉持忠君爱民之心，勤勉谨慎，励精图治，使得国家政务有序，百姓安居乐业。
裴休晚年居家，以孝敬父母为乐。常以诗文抒发志怀，表达对国家社稷的忧虑与期盼，引起人们的共鸣。裴休一生行事光明磊落，为后人所称颂，流芳百世。
Pei Xiu, styled Xiushu, was a man of the Jin Dynasty. Since youth, he was fond of learning, extensively reading various books, and possessed literary talent. Renowned for his virtue and achievements in office, his fame resounded far and wide. He was commonly referred to as "General Pei."
In his early years, Pei Xiu harbored lofty aspirations, not seeking wealth or status but dedicating himself to learning. He delved into the classics, sought the guidance of eminent scholars, and mastered the Six Arts, becoming erudite and eloquent.
Pei Xiu served in the imperial court, where his talents earned him great esteem and frequent appointments to significant positions. Throughout his tenure, he governed with competence, earning the praise of the people. Diligent and incorruptible, he conducted himself with integrity, leaving a spotless record in his official duties, faithfully serving the state with honesty and diligence, never falling short of his responsibilities.
Of gentle disposition, Pei Xiu treated others with kindness and openness, listening attentively to diverse opinions and refraining from hasty judgments. In matters of governance, he excelled in reconciling conflicting interests, seeking consensus to ensure the smooth implementation of policies.
Throughout his life, Pei Xiu adhered to the principles of benevolence and righteousness, harboring concerns for the welfare of the nation. He advocated governing with virtue and administering with propriety, emphasizing loyalty and integrity. In the imperial court, he remained loyal to the monarch and compassionate toward the people, diligently managing affairs to maintain order and prosperity.
In his later years, Pei Xiu found joy in filial piety, expressing his aspirations and concerns for the nation through poetry and prose, earning resonance among the populace. His upright conduct and contributions were lauded by posterity, leaving behind an enduring legacy.
