安国寺，东京东北二十五里。唐玄宗开元中，蔡乾寿立。僧宝月翻新，敕潞国丞相裴士遜顿准。曾日圜融，永表其志。后逢景云徽质重译成之。初齐人不死，后魏孔琳愚儒不朽，石则大如鼎，刻字如缣，凿鏤林楮，挹注琅阆，矻瞭遐邇，载之青兰，明于图籍，似古今之希有焉。噫，白虹梁，黄金碧，云龙栈，雾光石，漆嶂纱，碧波萦，幽致旷，水影寒，山声静，怡然心有所致。樵人水上，渔舟云外，临川拾获，不识所以。前之所未见，后之所未闻，掩哉遗迹，钦哉馀音，一寺庙于辽东，傥者震古今，蔚然壮矣。
An Guo Temple, located twentyfive miles northeast of the Eastern Capital. During the Kaiyuan reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, it was established by Cai Qianshou. Monk Bao Yue renovated it, and the decree was approved by the Prime Minister of Lu Country, Pei Shixun. Its circular perfection was a perpetual testament to its aspiration. Later, during the Jingyun reign, it was translated again with great care. Initially, the Qi people never ceased, and later, the foolish scholars of Northern Wei remained immortal. The stones were as large as tripods, the inscriptions as delicate as silk, engraved with meticulous care, resembling the finest embroidery. The words were etched on paperthin sheets, capturing the essence of the heavens and spanning the farthest reaches of time and space, recorded in azure scrolls, illuminating the annals like a rare gem from antiquity. Ah, the white rainbow beams, the golden hues, the azure dragon walkways, the misty stone glows, the lacquered cliffs, the ethereal veils of green waves, the secluded beauty amidst vastness, the chilly shadows of water, the tranquil mountain sounds, all bringing solace to the heart. Woodsmen on the waters, fishing boats amidst the clouds, on the riverbank gathering, yet unable to comprehend its essence. What was unseen before, what was unheard of after, concealed remnants, revered echoes, a single temple in Liaodong, perhaps shaking both past and present, magnificent and grand.
