Che Yin, styled Jiliang, was an official of the Jin Dynasty. He was born into a noble family and was diligent in studying, wellversed in history and literature, and skilled in poetry.

In his youth, Che Yin served as the Minister of the Central Secretariat of the Wei Kingdom. Later, he was promoted to be the Minister of the Ministry of Personnel by Emperor Wu of Jin, during which he devoted himself to promoting reforms and advocating for clean politics, cracking down on corruption.

Che Yin was also once sent on a diplomatic mission to the Wu Kingdom, during which he demonstrated extraordinary diplomatic skills and established deep personal connections in the Wu Kingdom.
