春日，微风拂面，花香扑鼻。我来到了一处古井旁，见一老者坐于井边，悠然自得地观鱼。我问老者：“贤长，何故静坐此处？”老者微笑着答道：“此乃吾家世代相传之井，水清鱼肥，每逢春日，吾便来此观鱼，思绪万千。”我闻之，心生好奇，遂请教老者鱼之所在。
老者指井底曰：“汝看此水清澈，犹如明镜，鱼儿游于其间，自有天地，宛若人世繁华。”我低头观看，果见水中游动着鱼儿，或嬉戏，或穿梭，活泼灵动。我不禁感叹大自然的神奇，心中涌起无限敬畏之情。
老者又指远处山峦曰：“观鱼之乐，不仅在于水中景致，更在于心静体恬。登高远望，鱼犹在水中自由畅游，而我亦在人间自在徜徉。”我听后恍然大悟，原来观鱼之乐在于内心的宁静与自在，与外在景物并非绝对相关。
临别，我向老者深深一拜，感谢他的启迪。从此，我每逢春日，便来此观鱼，体味心静之美，感悟人生之真谛。
On a spring day, with a gentle breeze caressing my face and the fragrance of flowers in the air, I arrived at a place by an ancient well. There, I saw an old man sitting by the well, peacefully observing the fish. Curious, I asked him, "Wise elder, why do you sit quietly here?"
The old man smiled and replied, "This is a well passed down through generations in my family. Its water is clear, and the fish are abundant. Every spring day, I come here to watch the fish, my mind filled with countless thoughts." Intrigued, I inquired about the whereabouts of the fish.
Pointing to the bottom of the well, the old man said, "Look at the clear water, as clear as a mirror. The fish swim within it, creating their own world, much like the bustling human world." I lowered my head and indeed saw fish swimming in the water, playing and darting around, lively and agile. I couldn't help but marvel at the wonders of nature, feeling an overwhelming sense of reverence.
The old man then gestured to the distant mountains and said, "The joy of observing fish lies not only in the scenery within the water but also in the tranquility of the mind. From a high vantage point, while the fish roam freely in the water, I too wander freely in the human world." His words enlightened me, realizing that the joy of observing fish comes from inner peace and freedom, not solely from external landscapes.
Before parting ways, I bowed deeply to the old man, grateful for his guidance. Since then, every spring day, I come here to observe the fish, savoring the beauty of tranquility and contemplating the true essence of life.
